PMO

Project Makeup Optional is mostly about referring to the skin on your face. But, this is more than just wrinkle-fighting. This is about keeping your skin healthy. Healthy skin is a good sign of overall health. Ok, maybe I made that up...but the steps you take for healthy skin also are good steps for overall health. For example, staying away from too much caffeine, and drinking lots and lots of water. These are both good things. You want to be able to have that nice healthy glow without the assistance of brightening pads, don't you? Of course you do. So what are some other steps for good skin/overall health:

1. Drink lots of water (Yes, I said that already, it bears repeating).
2. Take lots of vitamins
3. Eat your fruits and veggies. Again with the vitamins.
4. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize. Listen, ashy is not a good look.
5. During the day, moisturize with SPF. Even when it's not sunny out. We are protecting from wrinkles, the leather look, AND skin cancer. All pluses!
6. When you exercise your option to wear makeup, wash it off at night. I know, sometimes it's a pain. But you have to give those pores a chance to breathe.
7. And while I'm on the subject of nighttime, get some rest! Seriously, bags are a fabulous accessory, but not when they're under your eyes.
8. Exfoliate. Hey, your skin renews itself all the time. But sometimes the old cells want to stay for the party. They need a little help getting lifted. Gently scrub away.

See? Easy peasy. You've just began a ritual to raise the level of sexy. Nice work!
